HENNERTON Golf Club was opened by Bernard Gallacher in 1992. He was delighted with the beauty of the Berkshire countryside and the advantages made of the natural variation of the hills and the valley in the design of the course. Originally opened as 9-holes, this 18 hole parkland course is unique in layout and landscape.

Players of all standards are smitten with the course's challenges which are only topped by the outstanding views of the Thames Valley. As well as the golf course, Hennerton offers an indoor purpose built golf simulator, where golfers can play all year round on many world renowned golf courses.

Played Hennerton as it was one of the very few courses open, most of the others being waterlogged. I met a few others who like me had had their rounds cancelled by other courses and I can honestly say I'm glad. Started with coffee and a bacon sandwich, good service then a few balls on the range. The course was definitely playable and the greens were in very good condition. The mud in my pics was mainly from paths and high traffic areas. Although the course was short, driver/wedge on some par 4's, its a good test and you have to think your way round. It's also very steep in places and calf muscles

Have been a member here for a couple of years now. Mostly because of the incredible value for money.
It’s pretty short but is normally in a top condition - especially on the greens - all year round

I Highly recommend this golf course . I played there a few years ago and was ok but recently it has completely changed .The fairways and greens are very well maintained and the fees are very reasonable . Definitely a good course.

Brilliant day. Played here to meet in the middle from Southampton and North London.
Started off with a Sausage and bacon Bap and cappuccino, both very tasty and reasonably priced. Service was very friendly and all round easy going. Course is in great condition with short but testing holes on the front 9. Back 9 is longer but again good condition and testing. You see some lovely views from high terrain and it adds the enjoyment.
I’d recommend to anyone who wants to test themselves and have an opportunity at a low score. Would recommend, from the Soton V London lads.

Lovely short course with some testing holes, certainly not for the less mobile golfer though unless you are able to hire a buggy.

Has some of the most amazing views I have ever seen. The course is well kept and the holes are all very different and challenging . A beautiful place to play golf.

This is a really interesting short course with some challenging holes, but it is all a little higgldy piggldy and the greens were an absolute shocker, particularly the ninth which looked as though it had been transported from the Somme. The issues with the greens was a shame as it could be a really lovely course.

A really great little course in Wargrave overlooking the Thames Valley. Great condition and cheap to play. The only down side is that it is very short so would not consider playing there regularly or as a member but is perfect for a quiet round every now and then.. phone for cheap deals!!!
