Beware of the green keeper I witnessed him going up to a 3 ball on the weekend while they was in play and his language was not acceptable all over one guy throwing his ball into the lake he was swearing being intrusive I was shocked at his behaviour so make sure u play the best game of ur life and don’t ever get stressed and throw a ball in the lake

A nice short course with some challenging holes. Great value for money for a reasonably well kept public course. Don’t expect greens and tee boxes to be immaculate and you won’t be disappointed.

Decent little course, holes between 160 and 380 yards, mostly mid 200s. Club shop does small range of stuff and a decent basic driving range. The bar is a nice place to have a drink after the round.

We moved to this course when our other local closed due to pandemic/other reasons.
BV golf centre is an ideal 9 hole course for beginners/improver's or anyone who fancies an informal round of golf. They don't pretend its a championship standard course but with so many courses closing its good to see BV going strong.
The course itself isn't tough but stray shots are punished on a few of the holes with a number of lakes/hazards close by.
Holes 1 & 2 play straight
Hole 3 is a dogleg right or over the trees, either play up left or take it on.
Hole 4 is straight but watch out for the slicers on

Pay and play 9 hole golf course. Pretty short but the holes can be fairly tight and require a fair amount of accuracy. The greens are not quick and tee boxes need some major tlc. It isn't expensive to play and there is a basic driving range on site. The course can be fairly busy and play can be slow depending on time of day. Overall its not too bad a short 9 hole course and worth the money.

Nice intimate clubhouse venue set in an idyllic rural setting. We attended a fiftieth birthday party at the centre. The building is small with a rustic feel to it. There is a bar and an area that can be used as a dance floor. There are also toilet areas to the side of the building which are clearly marked. You'll find fairly ample parking and a wheelchair friendly main entrance. The area around the entrance is somewhat uneven and may pose a challenge to wheelchair and crutch users. The bar staff was friendly. A good night overall.

Interesting course that will catch out the good golfer but is a great "learning" course. Nice club house and friendly people. Not socially restricted like some golf clubs.

Great for a quick 9 holes. Good value for money, the quality of the course is reflected in the green fee but don't think this is an easy play. Wayward shots are often punished by a lost ball! Few bunkers but quite a bit of water. I think it's great! Lots of car parking, a good driving range and practice green. Friendly staff, decent bar and changing rooms.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue. My niece booked the Bistro for her mother's (my sister's) 50th Birthday Party. It was excellent, the staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly if they tried (you know who you are) and the atmosphere was lovely. We had a fabulous night which exceeded all expectations. DJ was pretty good too!
