The Crown Hotel
Big blue skies, sandy beaches stretching away into eternity, desolate salt marshes rich in wildlife, picturesque villages and quaint seaside resorts - north Norfolk is the undoubted jewel in East Anglia's glittering crown. And if you're looking to experience the natural wonders offered by the north coast of one of England's remotest counties, you need cast your eyes no further than The Crown Hotel.

The Crown has 20 luxury en-suite bedrooms. Each is equipped with a flat-screen TV and uniquely and individually decorated to create a warm and welcoming home-from-home atmosphere. The hotel also has four family rooms and two family suites with separate children's rooms, and in some rooms you can even have your dog to stay.
Services
Our Cosy Rooms are exactly that - warm, comfortable, inviting and cosy. Each room is completely unique and comes with tean coffee making facilities and flat screen tv as standard. Our Roomy Rooms provide the comfort of our Cosy Rooms but offer more space and seating area within each room. Guests can also enjoy a midday check out as opposed to our standard 11am check out.
Prepared to order using only the freshest and natural ingredients, sourced locally from farmers, fishermen and traders. Due to the nature of using seasonal ingredients not even we know what will be on our menu from week to week. Enjoy our fabulous 20 oz New York Rib Steak for two and our famous 'fizz 'n' chips Friday'.

8 of us had a fabulous meal at The Crown on New Year's day. Oysters, mussels and steaks - all perfectly cooked to individual preferences, which is no mean feat. We love the relaxed atmosphere and efficient service here and will return when we can.

Quirky in a nice way. Excellent food (evening meal) and friendly helpful staff. Throughly recommend. Not the cheapest in town but probably the best. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Cancelled our booking for a special meal on the last night of our holiday with 4 hours notice despite the booking being made the previous day. Busy Friday evening so unable to book anywhere else. Thanks for ruining the end of our holiday.

One of the main reasons i wanted to write this review is of course. The food was fantastic. Fresh & of very good quality. The staff were lovely. The room was beautifully clean. The decor lovely. But the bed was so comfortable. I had the best sleep OF MY LIFE. I woke up feeling 10yrs younger.
Plus room service brought me the best sausage & tomato sauce sandwich. The sauce was sweet & rich. (Just how i like my men!!) The sausage was meaty, real butter & the bread was thick cut. I made myself a lovely hot cup of tea. A nice golden brown. 1 sugar. Plumped up my pillows. (Sounds rude!) I know you shouldn’t

Grateful for the queue outside The Globe otherwise we would've missed out on the fresh delicious lunch, friendly service & quiet, somewhat hidden outside dining area. Well-filled sandwiches with a not-your-standard-side-salad & one of the best desserts I've had in a while - orange & almond cake nestled against a pool of chocolate, topped with clotted cream ice cream & a tiny sprig of mint. The decaf. coffee was nicely prepared too. Will definitely be back to see what other local food creations are on the menu & what locally brewed beers are available - ask as not all beer options are on the ever
