The Steppes dates back the 16th Century and has survived Civil War and many uprisings over the years. The original building (our family lounge) was said to have been erected in 1530 when Henry VIII was King of England and England was torn by the Reformation. Today however, it is a happy home for Lin and Martin.
Lin is a keen advocate for self sufficiency and as such has a large vegetable garden and beautiful gardens with an Apiary. The holiday cottages are located off road and footpaths are across the unadopted road, adjacent to the gardens.
