Lee Hood Plumbing & Heating Ltd is a family owned business which has been established since 1995. Our office and showroom is easily reachable as it is on one of the main roads into Hull on Willerby Road next door to Hanson Electrical. We carry out all types of plumbing, heating and air-conditioning in both domestic homes and in our specialist area of portable and modular buildings as well as on most other business premises.
We run a modern fleet of serviced liveried vehicles and boast of having a friendly, skilled and knowledgeable workforce who have remained loyal to us through these recent tough times. Lee and John, who work from the office, between them have nearly 60 years of experience in the industry and there won't be allot that they won't have come across down the years.

We received a call from McDonalds Restaurants to say that they were having problems with their heating & hot water systems in a Leeds store. After attending site it became apparent that the existing plant, now approaching its 17th year, was beyond economic repair.
In conjunction with McDonalds it was arranged that following the provision of a temporary hot water supply we would install a new heating and hot water system during a period of closure of the restaurant for refurbishment purposes.We specified and fitted an Ideal Commercial Boilers CXA-H 40kw boiler for the hot water to heat the cylinder manufactured by Joule Cylinders and 2no.

We started to quote for St. James School back in the spring of 2014 for our client. Following working through the job with the Architects and client we achieved a successful tender for the job and work started in earnest in a factory in October of 2014.
The school was built in a modular style, hence factory working, where we first fixed our pipework and equipment before moving on to Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria for the fit together and finishing off of the project, I say finishing off, we spent approximately 8 weeks on site in Barrow-in-Furness with approximately 1/3 of our current workforce.
