Services
Built in 1880 our home is a Victorian terraced house situated opposite St Johns church along the seafront. Just a 10 minute walk to the town and 20 minutes to the harbour we benefit from close proximity to the sea but also the quieter neighbourhood. All of our guests say how lovely and quiet the house is - perfect for a stay to recharge your batteries.
There are bus stops on Dorchester Road which take you to the town, Dorchester, Lyme Regis and Portland. There is no formal reception. The dining room is on the ground floor just 2 steps from the main door. There is background music in the dining room. We cater for sugar free (diabetic), vegetarian, gluten free (coeliacs), lactose free (dairy free) and vegan specific diets.
Since moving to this beautiful part of Dorset, Lynne & Andy have tried to make the most of the local sights and scenery. Some is reachable on foot via the South West Coast Path, and most of the rest can be reached by using the local bus service. So once parked in Weymouth, your car never need to be moved during the length of your stay.
ENZO RISTORANTE is along the Esplanade on the right serving traditional Italian fare - pizza, pasta. Contact number is 01305 77866. If you love French then a visit to Chef Eric at LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES is a must, especially as it sits on the harbour enjoying the views. Contactnumber is 01305 772270.
Afternoon tea has become one of the the nations favourite ways to celebrate a special occasion. Whether it be a birthday, anniversary, hen party or baby shower. Our beautiful Victorian house and dining room is well placed for either an intimate tea for two or a larger group. All we ask is 24 hours notice to prepare so if you're staying with us for a few days, or live locally, we can look after your requirements.

Myself and my partner spent 3 nights here and enjoyed a lovely stay.
Andy and Lynne were very personable and friendly as people and very attentive and helpful as owners and we were made to feel welcome and comfortable right from the off.
The room was immaculate and provided everything we needed for our short stay. The breakfast was also lovely and the dining room had a very pleasant, bright atmosphere that set a great tone for the day.
The location is a stones throw away from the beach and a 10min walk away from the town.

I booked an afternoon tea for and myself ,my partner and her daughter and son inlaw, could not have done better, Lynne and Andy were great hosts and made the occasion very special, food was excellent and a very nice selection, you've tried the rest ,now try the best ,I'll certainly be back , thanks lynne and Andy

Excellent hosts. Lovely attention to detail in the rooms with little extras. The refurbishment of the rooms and bathrooms are beautiful. Lovely taste in decor!
We stayed in the Romsey Suite. A king bed and twin room separated by a ‘Jack & Jill’ bathroom. Perfect for a family of four.

Fabulous B&B, with excellent COVID safe systems in place. We stayed for 4 nights and it was perfect, Lynn and Andy are perfect hosts. Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable followed by a superb breakfast every day. Parking was easy and the location great for the beach, harbour and local restaurants/site seeing. If we could give more stars we would. Next time I think we'll have to take a midweek break to try St John's 'afternoon tea'.

Just stayed in the loveliest guest house! Lovely clean and comfortable rooms with thoughtful little touches such as. Fridge, mini milk bottles and water etc. Breakfast was lovely and, regardless of restrictions, Everything managed so well. Thank you for a lovely stay! Sue & Rachel, St Albans, Hertfordshire.

Wow what an amazing B&B, from start to finish Andy and Lynne were brilliant. Our room was comfy and so clean and a lovely touch to have a fridge in our room. Breakfast had a good selection and cooked well. I felt that i had gone to visit friends that had opened up there home to us. Planning our next trip hopefully soon
