I have been a patient at Bassett Dental for around a year now, I have returned for 6 month check up this week and I believe it is now under new manage. I have recently registered at this practice and I can't recommend it enough, they are very friendly and extremely thorough and gentle, I had 2 filling.

We aim to provide high quality and ethical dental care, in a friendly and relaxed environment. We are an independent, family-friendly practice in the heart of Bassett, Southampton. For over 30 years, we have been building long-term relationships with our patients of all ages travelling from all over Hampshire and even further!
Invisalign is the virtually invisible orthodontic treatment that discreetly straightens teeth. When you have crowded, wide-spaced or misaligned teeth, it can make you self conscious about your smile and can also be difficult to clean effectively. Wire and bracket braces may not be your first choice of treatment as they are more visible.
Dental care plans allow patients to spread the costs of their maintenance via a monthly payment. We are partnered with Denplan which is a well known dental plan provider. Joining a dental plan has lots of benefits saving you money over the long term and ensuring your oral health is maintained, with a focus on prevention.
Would you like to have Invisalign/cosmetic treatments/ implants but are worried about the cost of treatment? You are not alone, and like thousands of other patients who would prefer to spread the costs of their dental treatment, a finance plan may be beneficial for you. Bassett Dental and Aesthetics is partnered with Tabeo to offer our patients payment plans that help spread the cost of treatment.
We provide comprehensive NHS dental services to both adults and children. We are able to provide treatments that are necessary following an assessment to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy and pain free. NHS dental services operate on a banded system, following an assessment your dentist will discuss with you which band your NHS course of treatment will fall into.

From the moment of making contact with Bassett Dental, their service has been exemplary; from communication with the Reception Team to how I was treated by the Dentist I saw.
I would highly recommend this practice to anyone, particularly if you are anxious about attending the Dentist as they have a great way of putting you at ease.
The Practice itself is clean and tidy with great infection control measures in place.

Honestly. Very Good Service once I rang to book an emergency appointment at 9:30am for my Wife . They Gave me an Appointment at 2:00pm . But she had a period problem to attend an appointment. Then I called back at 11:00am to cancel the appointment and explained the reason and surprisingly the Other side on phone LADY she should understand the period pain . She was keep denied and warning me to never ever see us anymore in this practice . If we cancel the Appointment.Even though I ask for to register us for in future . The Lady on phone she was said because of short notice of cancellation. This

Please stay well away from this practice if you are assigned to dr Phillipa Harris. I went in with an excruciating pain to my broken tooth. I was seen by dr Phillipa Harris, she paid no attention to my pain and simply patched up my old filling that was originally done by her few months before. I explained to her I was in agony and I feel it is infected, but she couldn’t care less, and patched it up after failing to remove the old filling. My pain multiplied the same day, because of her rigorously trying to remove my old filling, but failing to. I had to pay for something which I could have done

I have been a patient at Bassett Dental for around a year now, I have returned for 6 month check up this week and I believe it is now under new management and I felt I needed to write a good review as it seems to have changed for the better. The reception team were really efficient at fitting me in around my busy schedule and my dentist Dr Patel who I believe is the new owner was very reassuring and knowledgeable in her field of work. So thank you to a great team, and I am looking forward to my Invisalign consultation in the new year!
