I qualified as a Person Centered Counselor (PG Dip) 12 years ago. Initially I worked as a Satellite Counselor in the NHS, seeing clients with a variety of issues, primarily Addictions and Substance Misuse. I have managed a Counseling Organization in Hackney, working for 8 years offering generic counseling, also receiving NHS referrals for clients with more Complex Mental Health issues.
The MP Method is the only really successful method of weight loss, as this changes patterns forever. I am a qualified practitioner of the MP Method, which I integrate into my practice. This method does address the often-unconscious feelings and the thinking that precede an action or behavior, such as overeating.
Being curious and open to all that life has to offer, living your life to the full, enjoying the moment. Being inspired - having a vision and feeling confident enough, without being limited by fear, to follow your dreams and live a life that you want to live. Wellness the concept of the whole self, all aspects nourished (Internal and External), feeling in tune, optimum health and fitness, having inner space- a sense of vitality, yet calm.
Change is not easy, it always takes a lot of courage, it feels easier to stay with what is familiar for us, even though it is no longer serving us, as opposed to the challenge of change.
Even though the results following change can be amazing, a completely new and more satisfying life, it often feels safer to remain stuck, understanding this Cycle of change is the initial step, in breaking patterns of behavior, and in the process of letting go and moving on, not allowing fear to limit us.
