D C 2 Engineering
As professionally qualified engineers and technicians with a passion for the heating and biomass industry, our mission at DC2 Engineering is to design sustainable heating technology for UK homes, farms, estates, offices and even entire districts that are fuelled by biomass wood products. Because it's natural, safe, and abundant and therefore 100% sustainable - unlike the fossil fuels that are eventually going to run out.

Wood is easy to extract; there is no need to break the earth or install major pipelines or import vegetation from other countries. It is here, in our forests and on our land. Be a part of the generation that decarbonises the UK. Book a design appointment with us today and start making your family's future sustainable.
Services
DC2 Engineering was founded in 2012 by chartered engineer and sustainability expert Richard Dalley, becoming one of South Wales' pioneering suppliers of renewable energy heating solutions.

Today, the company employs 10 people, serving clients in the commercial, agricultural and domestic markets in sustainable technology and maintenance solutions and is rapidly becoming one of the leading Welsh suppliers of renewable energy for community and district heating solutions.
Who can benefit from a commercial sustainable heating system? If you are running a business from your establishment then you can benefit from the government's incentive for non-domestic renewable heat solutions. This includes: working farms or establishments in the agricultural sector. Do you have an ageing gas or oil-fired boiler that concerns you, especially in the winter months?
Do you have an ageing gas or oil-fired boiler that concerns you, especially in the winter months? Are you concerned with spiralling fossil-fuel energy costs? You can make these worries go away easily (and with little expense) to avoid potential future carbon taxes when you switch to our Biomass heating solutions.
If you are running a business from your establishment then you can benefit from the government's incentive for non-domestic renewable heat solutions (non domestic RHI scheme). This includes: working farms or establishments in the agricultural sector, land estates, offices, universities, hotels, spas, schools, universities, factories, local authorities and even entire districts!
In order to keep your biomass heating system running efficiently and to ensure a good return on your investment - and uphold your agreement with RHI guidelines - it is important to provide adequate maintenance.

Depending on the kind of fuel used (woodchip, pellets, logs or other kinds of biomass), the site installation and what it is used for exactly, your boiler will need servicing every few weeks, mostly to clean out the ash but also to sample gases for emissions control (flue gas analysis) and to verify the health of the boiler, to ensure that temperatures are within range guidelines for example and to carry out seasonal commissioning.
