Ready Steady Grow Community Pre School
The preschool was set up in 2017 as an independent preschool after being a part of Willow Tree Preschool for 7 years. Our staff members are highly qualified in the care and education of young children and is run by the manager and administrator with the support of the staff and a committee of parents. The pre-school is a registered charity which abides by a constitution set out by the Pre-school Learning Alliance and agreed by the Charities Commission.
Services
Learning Journals and special books have grown in popularity over the last decade, offering early years settings a way to record the special moments of their children, and to keep parents involved in a partnership as their children blossom and grow. More recently they have been used in conjunction with the EYFS developmental stages to assess more formally how children are progressing.
Some 2 year olds are eligible for 15 hours of government funded child care. All 3-4 years olds in England are entitled to 15 hours free early education/childcare for 38 weeks of the year from the term after their third birthday. Some families of 3-4 year olds may also be eligible for 30 hours free early education/childcare per week over 38 weeks of the year if they meet the relevant criteria.
