Hawthorns Private Day Nursery

The nursery is set in spacious grounds and surrounded by open countryside, in a warm, caring and safe environment. We have worked closely with early years, other professional, other nurseries and nursery managers to provide resources which meet the needs of each age group and development areas.

We aim to work in close partnership with parents to provide consistent and individual care, this is achieved through having a highly motivated staff team and a caring and safe environment.Our staff aim, wherever possible, to meet your needs. We are just about to start a before and after school club and our holiday club for children aged 4-8 years. Since the sale to the current owners in 2018, we have not yet been inspected. There have also been no complaints or concerns raised that required Ofsted to visit us or take action. We are eagerly awaiting their visit to us, to show them what we do every day and what our future plans are for the nursery!

This room is designed for children under the age of 18 months, we offer care for up to 9 babies. This superb and tranquil room provides a warm and safe environment for even the tiniest of babies. We work very closely with parents to help provide a positive routine, helping their baby to feel secure and happy within the nursing environment.

This room is designed for the toddler age group offering space to explore and develop within a very safe environment. We begin early structural activities and short sessions, children are supported and encouraged to take part. We understand that the children are still very young and we try to make the activities and nursery day very calm and yet lots of fun!

The Rainbow room enables children to develop independence through exploration and play. We begin the first stages of structure helping them make stepping-stones to the pre-school room. The children are supported to use our messy play area and to spend time in the pre-school room if they so wish. We also have a wide range of basic learning programmers offering music and group play as well as individual and role-play.
