Services
The nearby St Tysul Church dates back to the 12th century, and a Christian settlement has existed on the site since the 6th Century. St Tysul was the cousin of St David, our Patron Saint, and the grandson of the founder of Ceredigion, Ceredig. The present church was built in the 12th century and a number of prehistoric sites are found in the area, such as the Iron Age hill fort at Pencoedfoel.
We have 7 en suite bedrooms, conditioning of single, double, twin and family rooms. We have a dog friendly room on request for small dogs. Dating back to the 16th century, our bedrooms are all different in shape and size and all have there own character. The bedrooms are all situated on our 2nd floor, and are only accessible via the original staircase.
With over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry, you can feel assured that we will cater for your event, and relax that we will assist and plan all the details with you along the way. For the last 30 years the Porth Hotel has hosted accommodation, food and drink to numerous anglers coming to Llandysul to fish trout, salmon and sewin (sea trout) on the river Teifi. At Gwesty'r Porth Hotel, your initial application to fish Llandysul Angling Association's waters begins.

Really liked it here, the food was good, the manager friendly, the room clean, the breakfast tasty. Only downside was the bed although comfy it was very squeaky every time you moved and the mattress rolled around a fair bit! Would recommend and would go again.

We stopped off for a spot of lunch on the riverside terrace. Although a limited menu the food was really tasty and locally sourced.
