We follow all guidelines and legislation set out in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, and always aim to meet and exceed any expectations set out by OFSTED.Our open-door policy means you are welcome to visit the nursery and have a show around, without an appointment, and we will also offer to book you a FREE 2-hour trial for your child.

Jane opened Snaps in 2003 after discovering how much need there was for nurseries to provide care for children with special needs. Snaps took off very quickly and has since welcomed thousands of families through its doors. Now, Jane leaves the running of the nursery to Emma and Sherri but is always on hand to support them in their roles.
Both rooms have a strong, caring team of staff, who pride themselves on giving your child the very best care. They work meticulously together to achieve the best possible outcome for every child that comes through the doors at Snap Day Nursery. From fun filled games, to cosy story times, your child's day will be enriching, enabling and educational from start to end.
Dolphins is our 3-5 year olds room, where each day the children extend their learning, through fun activities, across all the areas of learning. Every half term we have an educational theme such as Keeping Safe, Our Bodies, Around the World. The children will take home a learning project to complete at home with parents based on the term's current theme.
Seahorses is our 2-3 year olds room, where each day the children enjoy learning through play, while still having their emotional needs met by the very caring and attentive staff. At this stage, children will begin to explore making new relationships and start to develop their independence. The Seahorse team are always available to talk with parents, about their child's needs, and are happy to offer advice and support where it is needed.

If your child is unhappy about going to the nursery, you should consider changing the place immediately. We ended up forcing our 3 year old for about a year before we relocated to another location where we realized that the quality of the environment and the staff plays a vital role in the happiness of your little one. At the new location, we never had a day where we had to bring her back from the nursery or where she would throw in tantrums before reaching there.
