Little Stars Day Nursery is a safe and fun environment for your child to develop during their early years! Our Shoebury Nursery also serves its surrounding areas, including Thorpe Bay, Great Wakering and Southchurch. Services
This particular group caters for your little babies until they are physically able to get around themselves. We have a ratio of one nurse to every 3 babies, maximum. Our nurses have years of experience and are trained to deal with matters in a caring and patient manner. When it is time for weaning, we are happy to work with you to make the transition from milk to solids as smooth as possible.
When your child joins the Green Turtles, our activities will continue to support the development of their physical, intellectual and creative skills. This will be encouraged by a structured yet natural routine. Your child's social skills will be positively encouraged too as they start to make a lot more friends at Little Stars Day Nursery.
Our Red Bears group caters for the age ranges 3 -5, although this can vary depending on the individual child's stage of development. We provide the ratio of one nurse to every 6 children in the Red Bears. The room where the Red Bears play, contains all the materials necessary to prepare your child for school.
Once your child is registered with Little Stars Day Nursery, we will arrange for your child to attend our Settling In Sessions in at our nursery. Normally you will be advised to stay with your child for a few visits before they start their proper sessions alone with us. We are flexible and will work with you to ensure that the Settling In Sessions run as smoothly and easily as possible.

EXTREMELY RUDE! Just tried to call for my daughter to be enrolled and was welcomed with a very rude woman on the phone wouldn't even let me speak before she started shout who am I speaking to who do u want to speak too! No one now I will not be enrolling my daughter in a place that talked to parents like that!

I sent my daughter here for 3 months. When she first went she was in nappies she would go for 5 hours so I would ensure I packed 6 nappies and spare clothes, a few times I picked my daughter up and she had full nappies with still 6 nappies inside her bag😠. Even after complaining she would only get changed 1 time a day. I then got her out of nappies, when I would get her she had a dirty face from dinner some time baring in mind I got her an hour after her dinner. Towards the end of her short stay there was a very hot day, they only gave her a glass of milk, even though I always packed her 2 bottles

I love Little Stars and all the ladies that look after my little girl do a wonderful job. I was nervous about sending her into childcare as i was returning to work after a long period of being a stay at home parent. I needn’t have worried as she has a great time and everyone works very hard to keep the children happy. All of the staff were very supportive when we started her potty training too - I don’t know where they get their patience from!
