At Market Hall you will always receive a friendly welcome from our team whose passion is caring for animals. Our vets and support team provide a comprehensive 1st opinion equine diagnostic and treatment service. We possess the latest diagnostic facilities to help determine the correct course of action with fast and accurate diagnosis.
Our vets and support team provide a comprehensive 1st opinion equine diagnostic and treatment service. We have a large team of experienced vets to ensure your horse, pony or donkey is properly looked after. We are able to identify and cure a painful condition that causes inflammation to a horses foot.
We have a dedicated team of small animal vets and nurses. Our main surgery is based in St. Clears housing a range of diagnostic and surgical facilities, and we have a small animal branch practice in Kilgetty near Tenby. Our main site provides clients with ample car parking, a welcoming reception area, 3 consultation rooms and 2 surgical theatres.
As farming has evolved over the past few years, Market Hall Vets have created a dedicated team of farm vets to cater for the modern dairy, beef and sheep farm. The practice was established over 40 years ago to supply veterinary services to the local farming community. Now the practice has a team of 9 dedicated farm vets and 2 additional part time TB testers.

If your animal has been previously registered at another practice it would be useful to allow us to get their old history.

Terrible response to phone calls…. No one answers.
Vets don’t return calls when advice is needed.
Kilgetty surgery only run on a part time basis.
Poor customer care… put on hold… ignored…cut off…. People in background chatting about non work things such as buying new trainers. No concern for the pet or the customers needs. Very poor service, would not recommend.

A pleasant first visit with professional, friendly and welcoming staff. Free car parking available on site. Modern clean customer waiting area with a good selection of pet products which were well merchandised. The vet consultation was carried out in a relaxed manner that put the dog and owner at ease. We brought in a lovely but very poorly bird rescued whilst at Colby Lodge. The staff were lovely and very caring and took care of the bird. They even offered to call to lets us know how she had gotten on. Brilliant practice. Whilst I don't have any pets to bring to them at present after seeing how lovely they were I would not hesitate to use the. Well done to you all.

My dog, Honey, a 9 year old chihuahua Jack Russell cross had to have a tooth out. Honey, a rescue Dog I've had from a pup, is very highly strung and very nervous and hates other dogs and strangers so the vet had her work cut out just trying to look in her mouth. The staff were brilliant and Vet Hannah was so kind and patient with Honey and did a marvellous job of getting a very difficult tooth out. Would highly recommend this Vets.
