She enjoys all aspects of large animal practice. Merfyn has spent much of his extensive career working in the Cardiganshire area. He enjoys all aspects of farm practice especially sheep work and is based mostly at our Llangadog branch, . Merfyn is fluent in Welsh and lives on the family farm in Newquay.

His main interests are in helping dairy herds maximise output for their chosen system, udder health and suckler herd efficiency. Out of work he is a rugby fan, keen cricketer, enjoys a bit of shooting and loves getting back to his family's mixed farm in Shropshire. Miranda graduated in 2017 from Bristol and worked in a mixed practice before moving to Prostock.

The four partners Anuschka Marsman, Cath Tudor, Sam Fenemore and Stephen Davies have over 50 years of combined experience ranging from stints in Northumberland to North America and New Zealand. ProStock provides a dedicated farm animal service with total commitment to Welsh agriculture, catering for all sizes from large enterprises to family farms and smallholders alike.

We have 4 branches : Carmarthen, Llangadog, Teifi and Carmarthen Mart. We have sheep and calf treatment facilities at Glynhebog, Teifi and Llangadog available throughout the year.
The ProBeef Discussion Group is a recently established group of suckler farmers who come together to share ideas, benchmark data and enjoy healthy debate surrounding the problems and management decisions affecting their herds profitability. The Group meets several times a year and is always looking for new members!

Keeping a close eye on youngstock performance is key.

Learn basic differences that exist between different classes of antibiotic and the need for veterinary guidance for their use.
