They are absolutely unprofessional. Wasting time when you are applying for your mortgage. All what I can say is they are not organised. After going through my mortgage and signed most of documents with them and signed direct debit form and paid for solicitor and mortgage advisor they turn round and said sorry your application is not going through.

The Leek United Building Society is conveniently located in St Edwards Street, with plenty of parking nearby, so is easy to get to. The access at the front is by a set of steps, but there is an entrance for disabled people at the back. The Building society is bright and welcoming and the staff are generally friendly and attentive, even though they are situated behind rather intimidating clear glass. The Society is keen to encourage young members and has a junior Humphrey Club for children with free gifts including a Humphrey money box. For older savers, the rates are generally competitive and worth
