Established in 2002 with many previous years of professional experience, Kevin Weatherly studied photography at Newcastle College and is a qualified, full-time professional photographer. He is also the Chairman of the North East Region of the British Institute of Professional Photography - the UK's largest professional body.

Who are the people behind KW Photography? Well KW himself is Kevin Weatherly, a full time professional photographer and chairman of the North East Region of the British Institute of Professional Photography. He plays guitar, he's a keen scuba diver, likes fell walking and loves food so he tends to be on a continuous diet!
We love weddings! Distance is no object, we have photographed weddings at lots of the North East's classic wedding venues such as Washington Old Hall (our local National Trust wedding venue), Lumley Castle (our nearest castle), Alnwick Castle, Dissington Hall, Kirkley Hall, Otterburn Hall and Ellingham Hall in Northumberland.

What do we mean by Event Photography? Well to put it simply, it's any special event where people gather in celebration, this includes birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, presentation and awards evenings, charity events, black tie dinner dance, equestrian, graduation ceremonies and graduation balls, leavers balls, sporting club functions, dance competition, a visit from Santa and anything else that fits!
