We have had several meals from British India and the standard of food has been consistently very high and deliveries reliable. The only problem is their use of plastic takeaway containers. I wish they would consider the environment and use non-plastic containers for the sake of the future.

Really disappointed. Haven't been for a while. Poppadoms arrived promptly, but we as arrived at 8pm, then had to wait until 9.55pm for mains. There were only 14 people in the restaurant, so what was the problem? Sadly had gone past it at that point.

Locally, our usual Indian food take away tends to be a bit greasy, but we ordered from British India tonight for the first time and it was absolutely outstanding!! Food arrived hot and very tasty - Well done, highly recommended 👍

Decor could do with a freshen up, but the food we had was excellent. Decent prices and i would highly recommend if you're after good tasty food and not too fussed about it looking fancy (food or restaurant) which we aren't. Seems to be the consensus (2 taxi drivers and a local), as we aren't from the area, its the best in town. Based on what we had we'll be sure to revisit when in the area.

Just ordered meal 1 meat eater other Pesicaeitan and I put all vegie side dishes in a big bowl plus prawn balti and got a piece of Meat!!! They have offered couple of side dishes off next order. Very disappointed an d not happy, how did this happen? Not happy!!!Beware vegies!!

First time visiting this restaurant and it was amazing. The staff were fantastic (one in particular stood out), covid hygiene was brilliant, atmosphere was lovely, food was delicious and they added a nice personal touch. Would certainly recommend.
