Lancaster & Gibbings are best known for our range of fine cast pewter photo frames handmade in England. A handmade cast pewter frame featuring Bees on a delicate Honeycomb pattern whose reflection catches the light beautifully. The frame can be displayed either portrait or landscape. This item is supplied.
If a design isn't included here it is because the back of the frame isn't smooth/clean enough. Handmade cast pewter photo frame. Designed from the idea of hearts floating like balloons into the sky (if you've seen the movie 'Up', you'll know what I mean). With small hearts bordering the photograph, this is a delicate design which remains both simple and sophisticated.

A great advantage of pewter is that it actually needs very little looking after. Your first thought of pewter might of that dull grey metal tankard - older pewter like this was shiny when new, but had a high lead content which made it go dull over time. Modern pewter doesn't contain lead and so will retain its shininess; it won't go as dull, however long you leave it.

Would highly recommend Lancaster and Gibbings. I emailed about a repair to an old broken keyring and Jim identified it as faulty and kindly offered to send a replacement to Australia free of charge. After going in expecting a brief reply the absolutely excellent customer service has ensured them a return customer.
