Hanstons LTD has been established for over two decades, since 1991, in the centre of Altrincham; started by business partners Paul Eppleston and Steven Hand. We gained approval for Mercedes Benz in 1995 followed by Volkswagen Audi Group in 2008, and more recently Nissan. Our split-level, modern, workshop on Atlantic Street has the capacity for 40 vehicles; which helps us ensure an efficient service of car/van body repairs and servicing.
Hanstons offer independent body shop and garage services for any make and model of vehicle; from performance, prestige and standard vehicles right through to light commercial vans. We are specialists in the industry and well known for excellence, our continued commitment to high levels of customer satisfaction.
Customer service being at the top of our priorities list at the forefront of what we are doing this year means we take feedback very seriously and are always keen to hear what you think. When servicing your vehicle we promise our customers transparent costing & value for money; with no trade off for quality of work. We only use quality oils for all services (Synthetic, Low-ash for diesels to decrease coking). All filters are checked and replaced if necessary (IE: Oil, Fuel & Pollen) along with general vehicle paint check.
Good quality tyres are essential for vehicle safety as your tyres are the sole contact areas to the road; better tyres will grip the road surface effectively, the correct tyres will also displace more water in wet weather conditions, aiding grip all year round. We also supply winter tyres for improved handling in the adverse conditions seen in recent years.

Totally professional and helpful. This is the type of business that we all look for when things go wrong. For me, a careless reversing into my car in a supermarket car park. Bumper dislodged, messy and of course no apology note!
Assessed at Hanston and reassured all will be well. Booked in and the damage sorted ( plus a little extra paintwork valeting) all at a great price and at an efficient speed. Totally thrilled. Very very good customer care.

From my initial conversation with Paul who was very professional and helpful, the quote was emailed within the hour.
I was advised it would be 2 to 3 days and it was exactly that, great service all round as you can see from the pictures an superb quality job was done on my car, i'd have no hesitation in recommending Hanstons š

Did a fantastic body repair on my elderley mum's car. She was very pleased with the result and was really happy about the way she was treated.
Very helpful and pleasant staff who did a great job at a reasonable price, especially when considering the issues with getting parts and materials during Covid.

My company sold a car to a customer in Manchester and during the warranty period the air con condenser failed. I rang Hanstons, spoke to Nikki and explained the situation. The car was quickly booked in, the work carried out and the car returned to my customer. Pricing was competitive and I was kept informed of the progress during the work. First class.

Have taken my past 2 cars (Impreza & Golf GTi) even took my van in after some clown totalled the front of it! Came out looking brand new! This has to be one of the very best, professional, efficient and courteous specialist garages in the northwest. I drive a lotus Elise, which isn't the easiest of cars to repair, and needs specialist expertise.
After a rear end collision, I took it to Hanstonās for their opinion of a rapair.
They didn't hesitate to evaluate the damage, and give a quote for a full repair.
Parts are hard to come by, but they were patient, and stored my car whilst waiting at no extra cost.
Now the best part.
On collecting my car, it's "immaculate". If anything it's in better condition than before the collision. It looks amazing.

Really great service from Hanstons. I collided with a pillar and my nearside rear passenger door and wheel arch were severely dented. Kevin was really honest with me and said I should source a replacement door, and that they'd do their best on the wheel arch damage.
Looking at it now, you honestly wouldn't know there was ever a problem. I also had a dent on my front door, which is very minor but quite sharp. They were really honest and said that trying to iron them out wouldn't achieve a good result, and that it wasn't worth worrying about. They could have easily led me up the garden path, but
