We started Hollies 28 years ago with the opening of our first nursery in Sherwood and are proud that 3 generations of our family have been able to share the important early developmental stages of thousands of children.

Hollies Arnold was graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in 2018. Nestled on the edge of Bestwood Country Park in Nottingham and close to the site of our Forest School, Hollies Arnold opened its doors in 1995, after considerable alterations as this building was the Army Naf. Hollies Arnold is located on one floor, making it easily accessible and an ideal fit with our ethos of free flow each room having their own garden.
NVQ Level 3 in Childcare Learning and Development, Nursery Language Lead, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene Level 2 and Safeguarding. NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene Level 2 and Safeguarding and Child Protection. Derbi has a vast experience in the cleaning industry and has completed many courses including moving & handling, COSSH, First Aid, Food Hygiene and Health and Safety.

Building on the success of our nurseries in Sherwood and Arnold, we set about transforming the building into a space that would provide a nurturing and welcoming environment. Hollies Mapperley has large, spacious rooms, giving plenty of opportunity for learning and creativity in a homely environment.
Our newest nursery can be found in West Bridgford, making us the perfect solution for outstanding childcare provision in South Nottingham. Located on Loughborough Road, Hollies is housed in a bright, spacious building with the biggest outdoor play area in West Bridgford.
Hollies West Bridgford has a calm and neutral environment, which offers the perfect backdrop for children to express their ideas and creativity, without over-stimulating their minds.Our staff have many years of experience and we understand the benefits of child-led activities, which allows us to engage in their interests and help them to achieve their next steps.

My little girl Sienna has been going to Hollies nursery in Sherwood for just over a year. Sadly today was her last day as my Mum has offered to have her for me.
The staff are great, my little girl loves going… and loves the ladies. Should our circumstances change I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Daughter was meant to start this week. Despite phone calls from myself which were not returned no one contacted me to arrange settling in sessions. Just been invoiced for sessions she never attended and still no answer when I call. Trying to get my deposit back as such a poor first impression and communication means I would not send her here now

Love this Nursery, was very nervous about leaving my little one and after seeing an other nursery and walking into Hollies at Arnold Country Park I knew instantly this was the right one. Nursery is in a lovely location where the little ones get lots of outside time and the nursery is the perfect size. My little one has been going to the nursery… since 10months old and his development has been amazing and I owe Hollies Nursery a big thanks for their help in that. My little one loves going and now goes running into nursery in the mornings which makes us feel slightly better about having to

My lil girl has been going to arnold since September, after I looked at lots of nurseries and hated them all... We walked into arnold and instantly loved it. Charlotte is so happy and enjoys every day she's there and has come out her shell, made lots of friends and genuinely loves everyone there. Her speech has massively improved and she has learnt… how to play and have fun with others... couldn't not be happier. I would highly recommend and I will be ensuring my son goes here when he's ready to. We both love Hollies the location, staff and atmosphere is perfect and I can't thank the staff

My daughter left hollies country park to go to school. She had been there for almost 2 years. I just wanted to say how much both me and alexa miss the comfort of the nursery. She was made a fuss of from the… very first day, and even though she was a difficult one to settle, every single staff member involved with her care took extra special care of her. Nothing was too much trouble for hollies, they never made me feel like a panicking mother for ringing every day for almost a year . Jackie's dinners were a hit with alexa, she misses them terribly. Hollies is a fantastic nursery. My son went from 10 months old until just after his 3rd birthday and loved it. My daughter has now started her Hollies journey and I am happy to report that she is loving it too.… The whole team are very friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and really interact well with the children. I can't say that I've noticed a high turn around in staff either which tells me they like working there but equally gives me peace of mind that my children have had consistent faces in their daily lives.
