Services
Adults provide a wide range of stimulating resources which are accessible, open-ended and relevant to children's interests. Adults only intervene in children's play to support, stimulate or extend children's learning when needed. Children have opportunities to exercise choice over their activities - setting their own goals and methods.
The EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) is the foundations to children's learning and development. It sets out the learning and development stages for children from birth - five years.

At Ark Day Nursery we believe that parents play a crucial part in helping us to enhance your child's growth and development as you know your child better than anyone. We pride ourselves on working closely with parents and the sharing of information makes sure that your child's time with us is happy, fulfilling and rewarding.
Ofsted is the Government regulator responsible for ensuring all nurseries in the U.K. meet certain stringent standards such as ratios of staff to children, first aid trained members and the acceptable number of NVQ/GCSE qualified staff. Regular thorough inspections are carried out by specially trained professionals to make sure these standards continue to be met.
Whether your child is 6 weeks old or just about to start school, it's never too early to get them on the road to education. Each children's nursery room centres around what is important at this stage in your child's life, making sure they are ready for school, but also encouraging them in their interests as well as broadening them.

My little man started here when he was 7 months old and is now getting ready to leave for school. During his time here he has grown into a confident, independent and clever little boy and that is all thanks to the amazing hard working staff who go above and beyond for the children in their care. They have given mason an amazing start in his development journey, he is absolutely gutted to be leaving which shows the great impact they have had on him and says he's coming back to play in the holidays 🤣. would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking!!.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since she has been 2 and a half months old, and she is turning three this year. the care and love all the staff have put into looking after my daughter is amazing. They have supported her every step of the way in her development and helped her to become the happy little girl she is today :) she really struggled to adjust to lockdown at home and missed everyone and wasn’t herself at all,but as soon as she started back at the nursery she was back to her normal self and is always very excited to go to nursery and all ways so happy when I pick her up
