S. Nicholl Furniture provides a furniture design service to ensure the perfect piece of bespoke furniture is made to the specified requirements. The process begins with an initial guide price, followed by a free design consultation to discuss objectives, materials choices, design criteria and the practicalities of the construction.
We commissioned Simon to build fitted cupboards and shelving for four alcoves in our Grade 2 listed home and we are thrilled with the results. He worked with us closely throughout the process and understood the additional requirements we had to meet because of its listed status. The workmanship is excellent and the cupboards have transformed our room.

Refurbishing our existing kitchen the project required an additional 2 cupboard doors to be made to match the existing doors. Only a small job but not straightforward given the design profile of the doors …from the first telephone call through to collection Simon and his team could not have been more helpful and enthusiastic … Simon quickly provided us with options and estimated cost. The work was carried out to the highest standard … the doors fit perfectly and are indistinguishable from the originals (apart from being white ahead of the kitchen all being painted) The additional doors are

Simon designed and created the most amazing hidden bookcase door that will forever be a feature and talking point in our home. The workmanship is exceptional and Simon and his team were an absolute pleasure to have in the house. I'll add a photo as soon as we have finished decorating around it, but we couldn't be more delighted with the finished result.

I would strongly recommend Simon to anyone interested in commissioning bespoke furniture. We are really happy with the design and craftsmanship of the work Simon and his team have completed for us. Simon designed and made a built in TV unit and a set of bedroom furniture, including built in wardrobes.
We were really impressed with the time Simon spent patiently extracting our half-baked ideas and turning them in to furniture designs, this couldn’t have been easy as we weren’t completely sure what we wanted. Simon spent hours researching solutions to our demanding brief, especially on the TV

Simon has built a kitchen dresser, and a desk for my study, and I am thrilled with both pieces. They have exceeded my expectations. Working on the designs with Simon was a great process because he is very sensitive to the kind of person you are and what your tastes are, and I felt he had an extremely good understanding of what I wanted.
