Absolutely loved visiting this shop but now with quarantine going on tried their online site instead and was not disappointed! I ordered a lovely wall hanging decoration of the national anthem for my rugby loving fiance and he was so surprised and happy with it. Delivery was very speedy and loved the personal touch on the invoice and the 'cwtch' wooden magnet, my daughter thought it was amazing! would definitely recommend for anyone looking for unique Welsh inspired gifts.

Look. sometimes tourist traps are just that. i flew thousands of miles across the atlantic ocean so you better bet i'm gonna cram little shot glasses with welsh words on them into my suitcase. does a store like this fit the bill for what i need, which is tacky and cheap little souvenirs that i can hand out to people in an effort to lowkey brag about how i spent my summer? yes. pretty much.
but, as someone who's basically just been the most obnoxious tourist running into every single tacky cheap souvenir shop in bath, london, paris, and more in the past month, i can definitely say that

A shop which unsurprisingly specialies in all things Welsh. There's an eclectic range of products, all themed, or representing elements of Wales. In truth, the shops rather basic sign on the exterior is indicative of the generic and standard quality of items sold here. The types of things on offer range from unofficial rugby shirts, t-shirts, stuffed animals and fridge magnets. The shop is not really at all popular with anyone other than tourists or unhealthily patriotic locals.
Shop Wales is the type of place where you'd go to begrudgingly as a last minute place to get something for

Shop Wales is undoubtedly in existence for tourists. The only reason I could think the average Cardiffer would purposely go is for fancy dress (or if you want to feel particularly Welsh).
Shop Wales sells everything in terms of cheap (and I don't mean in terms of monetary value) tat. What I mean by tat is Shop Wales sells everything from t-shirts to cufflinks and some items can be overpriced. Nevertheless the staff are very friendly but I wouldn't really consider shopping here even for gifts as I don't particularly see the point, but I guess it's down to personal preference

A little bit tacky, but if you need to get somebody a gift that's considered "Welsh" and don't want to break the bank this shop might just be you're place.
They sell a variety of Welsh themed items such as mobile phone cases, wallets, car stickers, rugby shirts, t shirts, and my personal fave cuddly Welsh dragons! Unfortunately that's pretty much it.
Similarly to Laura this shop is not really my "thing", you really aren't going to find any tasteful gifts in here. As a Welsh person I would love it if they sold more traditional items such as love spoons

Shop Wales seems to be like the kind of place people go when they realise that they've only got one day of their holiday left but they've forgotten to get presents for anyone. 'Quick, we need to get them something Welsh!' you shout. When no one comes up with any ideas apart from daffodils you plunge into despair.
This shop comes to the rescue only in these situations because I don't know why else you'd shop here. I don't think that many of the items are of that high a quality or of great humour.
But then, Welsh people are very proud of their nation (and, don

Visiting Wales and need proof you've been there? Need a constant reminder of where you're from if your a native? Then Shop Wales is the place for you.
A small shop behind St Davids Centre that deals solely in Welsh clothing, accessories, flags, Rugby etc.
It's very cosy in there and the staff are always friendly. There's some really cool T-Shirts in there with funny antidotes on them (I won't repeat some of them). I've noticed a few hen parties on my nights out who have staggered about with hats and novelty items from there, as well as Welsh dragons shirts when
