In 1997 Michael Murrant trained as a funeral director at an independent Funeral Directors in Norfolk. He later went on to manage a branch of a large commercial Funeral Directors in Norwich. As a vital member of our team, Lola has been a great comfort to many of the families visiting our office during bereavement.

Nowadays it can be difficult to find a truly independent funeral director, many local funeral directors that may appear to be independent are in fact owned by national co-operatives or American companies where your loved one is cared for by employees of the company. Murrant Family Funeral Services are truly independent and family run.
We can help you with all the additional services that mean the most when marking the passing of a loved one. Making provision for your own funeral and having a plan in place can help your loved ones carry out your wishes without the financial burden. We can arrange this for you, so do call if you'd like to talk about the plans we have available. We've created The Independent Way Funeral Plan in collaboration with Golden Charter Funeral Plans and can advise on you on a range of plans that include the option of monthly payments.

Enjoy the chance to meet and talk to others that have been through the same emotions, to find friends, company and other groups or activities. Martham Solo Group meets every fourth Wednesday of the month at Martham Methodist Church back room.
