Our independent family funeral home was born in 1965 by its founders Richard F.J. Finch and Nora I. Finch. We moved to our current premises at Military Road in 1970. Since then we have become the largest funeral home in Northampton. Boasting its own large car park and Northampton's only dedicated remembrance room and book which contains the names of every funeral conducted by the company since it begun.
We currently run a brand new fleet of Jaguar Hearse and Limousines giving Northampton the best quality of service in which bereaved families deserve. Every funeral is directed by its current partners Richard and Adam Finch giving families the best personal service available. I hope you find our website very helpful and remember we are here to help you through your very difficult time.

Services
The premises have been constantly improved upon to provide families with the best possible funeral home in Northampton including a spacious reception area for families to reflect while paying their last respects to their loved ones, a large car park next to the main front doors, a large remembrance room and books containing every funeral conducted by the company since its start.
When a death certificate has been issued to you, you need to register the death, this must be done by appointment either by calling (0300) 126 1000 or online at www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/appointments. Our services to you start when you contact us, whether by telephone, by calling personally or via our web site; and extend often way beyond the day of the funeral.
Our Jaguar XJ hearse, The Standard oak veneer coffin, a caring funeral director, four bearers, bringing the deceased into our care 24hrs a day within 15 miles of Northampton town centre, preparation of the deceased in accordance with the relative's / client's wishes, providing a gown or the deceased's own clothes if desired and laying to rest in the coffin or casket selected, providing the facilities to care for the deceased until the funeral day.
Disbursements are essentially fees that we pay out on behalf of the family, ie: doctor's fees where appropriate, Crematorium/Cemetery fees and Parochial fees etc. Our written estimate will detail the approximate cost of any disbursements. However, you will appreciate that we will have no direct control over these charges and they could therefore be subject to slight variations.
No one can be cremated until the cause of death is definitely known. There are two cremation certificates (forms B&C). Each must be signed by a different doctor. These certificates must be paid for and listed under disbursements on our estimate and account. The cremation certificates are not required when death is referred to the coroner.

Dear Adam,
Firstly, i would just like to extend my thanks to yourself and your company for the excellent service you provided me and my family during a very traumatic time. You all acted with compassion and were very efficient with your communication and above all you were so professional. I would like to add a special mention to Adam Jnr for the way he conducted himself on the day of the funeral and lead the procession from my house.
All the best JP

The family were extremely grateful to Adam Finch and his colleagues for their support during a difficult time. The initial phone conversation provided us with enough detail and reassurance to suggest that they would give the best attention possible to our requirements. During the time between booking their services and the actual funeral there was always someone at the end of the phone to answer any queries. On the day of the funeral and subsequent cremation everything happened on time but with due respect to our relative who had passed away. We would strongly like to recommend their services to
