Tapper Financial Services grew out of a family business in Devon, Tapper & Sons, dating back to 1856. After many years running businesses for other people, Martin started running his own mortgage company in 2006. Our offices are in Birch, just outside Colchester, The Mortgages Company/Tapper Financial Services is a specialist mortgage advice and insurance firm.
In our village of just 300 homes, there have been 4 adolescent suicides in the last few years. The Mortgages Company (Tapper Financial Services) also has close family members who have been affected by serious mental health issues. Project 2021 aims to support young people, so that mental health issues can be dealt with before they become deep rooted.

Martin and Loess have been fantastic throughout our mortgage process. Even with our difficult situation they have been so helpful and gave advice along the way. No question was a silly question and no job was too hard..Even during Covid times they was at the end of the phone or email when we needed help.

I've known Martin and Loess for many years and first took out policies and a mortgage with them 8 years ago. I've always found them to be incredibly professional and exceptional at getting us a great deal.
That is nothing in comparison to their customer care.

We’ve been using Martin for years now and always been happy with the service.
We finally bit the bullet and moved after 13 years after a meeting where Martin told us that our borrowing potential was a lot more than we realised, the next day we found our lovely new house and 6 weeks later we moved in! It was lightening fast but Martin really helped working very quickly with us. We look forward to seeing him next time in our new home!
