A huge thank you to Amelia who helped me pass my driving test! It's been nearly a month since I have passed and I was nervous to drive by myself but she helped me feel confident and believe in myself. Our lessons were so fun and there wasn't a lesson we did not laugh! She made me feel at ease and explained ways in such simple ways, changing strategies to how I would understand it best!
You need to apply for and receive your provisional driving licence before starting to learn to drive. To apply for this visit the DVLA or you can obtain the form D1 from your local Post Office. It takes about 3 weeks for your application to be processed and for your licence to be sent to you - so if you want to start learning as soon as you are 17, make sure you apply early.

Be able to read a number plate where the letters and numbers are 79.4mm from 27.5m (90ft).
This is designed to cover the complete syllabus for learning to drive and reaching a good standard in a short period of time. It also gives you enough time to build up your confidence. Hours can be arranged to suit, however we would recommend allowing a minimum of 6 weeks to prepare for your driving test.

Just passed my practical driving test with Lady Drive/His&Hers and the experience was amazing! Peter was my instructor from His and Hers driving school and I cannot thank him enough. He was fantastic, he always kept calm, he was attentive and I felt very safe driving with him. I learnt in automatic after struggling with manual for years and just passed my test. I would highly recommend Peter to anyone who wants to learn automatic.
