Services
At Lumi's Driving School we offer very competitive prices delivering you driving lessons that are great value for money. Our driving lessons start from only 30.00 / hour. If you have never taken a professional driving lesson and/or driven on the road then this special offer is for you. Standard one hour driving lesson start from only 35 and a 2 hour driving lesson 67 (32 p/h).
By law you must have a Provisional Driving Licence for Great Britain or Northern Ireland when you're learning to drive or ride. Remember that the person accompanying you must have held a full driving licence for at least 3 years the same category as the vehicle you're driving. They must also be over 21 and you must also put 'L' plates on prominent places on the front and back of your vehicle.
You need to PASS your Theory and Hazard Perception Test at the same time, before, you can apply for your Practical Test. You will need a valid Provisional Driving Licence in order to take your Theory Test and you can book your Theory and Hazard Perception Test online. You DO NOT however, need to have passed your Theory & Hazard Perception Test, before taking driving lessons with Lumi's Driving School.
At the beginning of your Practical Driving Test the "Show Me, Tell Me" questions will begin. These questions are designed to test your knowledge on basic car maintenance and safety. You will be asked 2 questions by the examiner, one "Show Me" question and one "Tell Me" question. You will naturally be nervous so try and keep calm and relaxed and don't rush.
When you are ready to take the Practical Test, you can book your test online. We will let you know when to apply, when your skills have reached the correct standard to ensure you have the best chance of passing. On the day of your Practical Test make sure that we arrive in plenty of time to ensure you can get yourself settled and calm.

I wish I could give more than 5 Stars. Very professional, thorough with the curriculum, teaches with patience-absolutely right type of instructor. Lumi prepared me for every road and taught me how to navigate safely, passing the test was easy and came in as a bonus of the right type of teaching. Passed in first attempt.

I passed my test first time recently, with 3 minors. I started off quite hard-headed and stuck in my ways, however after a while I started progressing. This was all due to Lumi's patience and the way he explains everything in a simple manner. I was also comfortable asking questions, as he would always answer them in a calm way. His sense of humour definitely made the process much easier and enjoyable. I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially those to doubt themselves, as he will definitely build up your confidence on the road!

I couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor - Lumi is patient, explains things thoroughly, and always keeps calm. I was quite nervous about learning to drive again after having my last driving lesson some 10+ years ago, but I needn't have been, and I've now passed my driving test first time!

Cannot rate Lumis driving school enough. Lumi, the instructor, is kind, patient, knowledgeable and has a fantastic sense of humour. He very much made me feel at ease when I was at my most anxious and just generally helped me pass my test FIRST time with ONE minor. He was insanely dedicated to his work and that was really appreciated. Thank you so much Lumi!!

I would highly recommend Lumi as a driving instructor for a number of different reasons. I went from being scared of moving the car forward to zooming around roundabouts and passing my test first time in a very short space of time, about 4 months. Lumi has always been excellent at explaining procedures and methods, helping me to understand everything clearly while also being very supportive, calm and patient along the way. I can definitely say that I will be a safe driver on the road because of Lumi’s consistent approach to teaching. We also had some good laughs along the way which made the whole
