Coupled with our ideal location, we advise on where to eat and what to see & do and provide directions, local maps and information as you require. We welcome families with children from 4 yrs old, have daytime 'Left Luggage' facilities & free Wi-Fi - everything to ensure the very best is made of your stay, be it for a one night Stopover or Short Break Dover.
Extensive coastal fortifications, which date from the late 1700's to early 1800's with commanding views over the Channel and Dover. Fascinating, discovered by the Kent Archaeological Rescue Unit in 1970 (KARU) and built about A. Kent Battle of Britain Museum Based at Hawkinge Airfield the museum hosts the country's largest collection of 1940 related items.
As you reach Dover, go straight ahead at 2 roundabouts - turn left at York Street Junction traffic lights. Go straight ahead to roundabout and take 2nd exit (Priory). At the traffic lights, turn right into Ladywell (signposted for Police station). At next traffic lights turn right but keep left - we are approx 100 mtres on the left.
Our Guest Accommodation is presented to AA 4 Star Silver Standard so you can expect a warm welcome, a high standard of cleanliness, comfortable single /double/superking beds & tasteful furnishings. We offer Single, Double & Twin through to Large Family Ensuites sleeping 3 - 4 persons. We have 'budget' Single & Twin rooms, each with Private (lockable) bathrooms across small landing.
With regret, our accommodation is unsuitable for children under 4 years. We are unable to accommodate pets. We reserve the right to offer B&B only during Peak Season. For stays or 3 nights plus by the same party - special deposit terms may apply, please contact us direct for more information and possible discounts.

Great location for the Castle. Easy off street parking. The presentation was great and the Covid precautions were well done. We has two rooms and the bedding was of a high standard and the beds very comfortable. The rooms had all we needed including a small TV. The bathrooms were supplied with a good selection of toiletries.
The highlight has to be the excellent breakfast which was a brilliant way to start the day. With a great selection, beautiful presentation and friendly delivery I have to say this was exceptional.

AVOID THIS PLACE...Looks and reviews can be deceiving. Stayed there for couple of nights. Room looks good and clean. But there were lot of issues:
1. Wifi is very poor or non-existent: Wifi signal was so poor throughout stay. Had to use mobile network.
2. The water pressure from shower head is so low that it felt literally like showering from a drip feed.
3. The websites and policies clearly said that children are welcome and there is no surcharge. However, after going there, we were charged extra surcharges for bringing a child. It would have been okay if the policies clearly stated this. Watch

Great value for money - I had a beautifully clean, small single with everything I needed on it at an extremely good price . The other more spacious rooms looked lovely too - I’m trying to keep costs down though, travelling solo and happy to have a little room. Although it was their smallest bedroom, , everything was lovely - comfy bed, coffee/tea making facilities, crisp sheets and soft towels. Extremely clean private bathroom. Left long before breakfast as I’m walking - feeling sorry to be missing it having read the reviews! Host Dianne was most welcoming and accommodating. Very COVID aware

Di and Barry are supper active and friendly owners.
Room very nice and clean.
Di explained all the activities. Took concern of my sons food allergies and booked us a dinner reservation at a place that could accommodate.
Di arranged to have a taxi for us on our departure and made a very nice breakfast.
