You'll find the Zig Zag path half way between town and Folkestone West next to The Leas Cliff Hall and the Band Stand. Originally built in the 1800s to ferry bath chairs between The Leas and the beach the Zig Zag path has been restored beyond its original beauty as part of the Award Winning Coastal Park Development.
Follow the M20 to the Channel Tunnel. Turn off at Junction 13, A20 to Folkestone. This is Cherry Garden Avenue. As you approach the second set of traffic lights stay in the CENTRE lane and drive straight across the lights. Follow the road for about 1km to a right hand turning posted up to sign A259 Sandgate/Hastings, turn here into Earls Avenue.

We were late arriving , 10.30pm, due to delays in tunnel and coulddn,t get any dinner, so Sharon made us a toasted sandwich. Charming and effortlesly made us feel welcome.
Lovely big room and excellent breakfast, perfect eggs.
I highly recommend the Wycliffe. Thank you both.

We chose Wycliffe as it had large rooms and we were a group of 2 adults 3 children travelling across to France. We were not disappointed and stayed here again on our return journey home. Very spacious, clean and warm rooms, plenty of towels and bedding. Welcoming and attentive hosts, beautiful breakfast in the morning. Great stay both times! Would recommend for a cozy stay and very close to channel tunnel

This guest house has perfectly met our needs, both as a family group and as a single traveller (plus pet). The hosts are welcoming and most helpful. The rooms and shared areas are well furnished and equipped and beautifully kept. Very good home cooking well presented and well served. A calm and quiet location with easy access to parking, green space and the sea-front. Good value and highly recommended.

We have stayed (with our dog) at the Wycliffe on several occasions. Sharon has always offered a very warm welcome. This small hotel is personally run by Sharon and Trevor, who are welcoming yet unobtrusive. Their service is efficient, and tailored to the needs of guests. The Wycliffe is well maintained, the rooms, bedding and bathrooms are pristine. Wonderful breakfast, although on this visit we had to decline due to an early start. Highly recommended for any length of stay. Many thanks.
