The Stag & Hounds has always been a focal point for the village of Binfield, conveniently situated between Binfield and Warfield and has for many years been known for its fine fare and hospitality. We hope that you will find that this long tradition of quality food, fine beers and great service continues and improves.

Muddy paws are welcome too both the two and four leg variety, and there are plenty of quite corners where they can watch the comings and goings. You can choose a table in the main dining area or enjoy a quieter spot in one of the more intimate character corners. Four of us had a lovely meal at the Stag and Hounds. A very interesting menu and everyone enjoyed the food. Staff efficient and friendly. Also had a nice pint of IPA. One word of warning - beware of low beams in various places as you walk around the pub.

Firstly the atmosphere (the locals) and staff were lovely, warm, inviting which is a real find in a pub. I thought the food, though brilliantly executed a little on the pricey side, bit delicious none the less. I'd recommend The S&H.

Lovely atmosphere and well cooked food. Couldn't ask for more.
Service was prompt and polite.
Low ceilings are around every corner, if you're over 6 feet tall, be prepared to duck and dive a little.
Went for a family meal, they can't wait to go back.

Really enjoyed our meal! We got the chicken wings to start and then the sea bass meal (but they kindly replaced it with a tuna steak) and then the venison. It was delicious!
Service was very attentive and helped me with my allergens! Chefs were also happy to modify my dish and it still came out amazing
The nicest meal we have had in a long time!!

Had lunch here on the 20th December and it was quite busy, however the service was very good as was the food. The apple and rhubarb crumble with custard was fantastic. Parts of the pub were built a long time ago when people were tall at 5 foot so be prepared to duck in certain areas.

So I managed to stubble across the stag & hound after a week of looking for somewhere good to eat after moving here for work 4 days ago.
All I can say is this place is fantastic, from the friendly atmosphere, great staff and absolutely fantastic food. If you are looking for food of a very high standard then this is the place for you, also I do recommend the pork crackling and apple sauce whilst waiting for the food………10/10 guys and I will definitely be coming again.

Fabulous meal on Saturday evening.
Just a quick visit to the area, would love to visit the Stag & Hounds again should we pass through the area again. Great service. Drinks pricey though!

Lovely pub, staff attentive without being overbearing!! Food freshly prepared, tasty and very well presented. We had a lovely lunch with our two dogs who were also treated to a fresh bowl of water. Would recommend without hesitation

A lovely meal out with family to celebrate my birthday. We sat outside under the canopy despite the weather and it was nice to sit and eat and watch the rain whilst we stayed dry. The food was excellent and the service was very good as well.
I had the squid followed by the chicken supreme and enjoyed every mouthful. Highly recommended by me. 👍

We just visited the Stag and Hounds for a light lunch and a drink.
We had two sandwiches which were delicious but at a cost of eight and a half pounds each, I think they should be.
After tasting three of the bitters offered, none tasted good so I had a pint of cider which was mediocre at best.
Service at the bar was poor but the woman who bought the food later was friendly.
The pub has a lovely big garden with lots of tables and chairs but was empty when we were there.
I definitely would not return here. Expensive and poor service.
