Currently still in tenancy with one of their properties but I'd say the rating isn't going to change.
Winter months came about and the alley which leads to the door to my house was pitch black from around 5pm onwards, after emailing one of the staff they had an electrician come out the next day to remove the old broken lights and replace them with brand new LED ones that make the alley as bright as the sun.
In addition whenever we were handling viewings, Donna one of the agents went out of her way to get keys for a house we were booked to view a few days later. The fact that this agency is willing

We rented a family property with Douglas Huston in Belfast for more than two years with the worst possible ending. Our landlord, who works in Douglas Huston and is related to the owner of the agency, decided to reoccupy the house due to a change in his personal circumstances. I could use many negative adjectives to describe the process of our eviction (merciless, rude, greedy), but overall this was a very traumatic event for a family of four a week before leaving for summer holidays. I would advise to avoid Douglas Huston at all costs.

I was about to sign the lease with them only to be told that having a Scottish guarantor is not good enough, it is either a double deposit or NI guarantor. The problem was not in the fact that it was a double deposit, but the fact that I was given an ultimatum first - well, we can't proceed with the lease then. No other options were offered to me and that was the major problem, it was take it or leave it - and that's the attitude they had even before getting my business. - the agent could have said 'let me check if we can find a solution, but it blank - WELL, we can't proceed with the lease then

Great agents. I have used a few in Belfast, and Douglas Huston by far has been the best. When things were broken, they fixed it straight away. They only show quality houses and flats. Staff and friendly and always happy to help. I would recommend using them, as not many agents in Belfast are good. Also, I received my deposit in full, which I know is rare with agents!!
