I have had my property under the fully managed service that Platinum Estates provide for a number of years and can not fault their service. I have had no hassle and the communication is great. We used Platinum Estates to move to our new apartment in Nottingham and found that they made the process very easy for us. The referencing process was very clearly explained before we paid our holding deposit and then they completed a fast turnaround to ensure that we could collect the keys for our chosen date. Avoid at all costs. My son's flat was filthy, items on the inventory were missing, may items in the flat were broken, the customer service is shocking as they constantly lie to you! The oven did not work, they said he didn't need it as he had a hob. The window would not close, they said the previous tenant lived with it and so it was fine. They also said as it was a third floor flat it could not be repaired. The flat is on the first floor and they told me I was wrong! Apparently six weeks was not long enough for their 'professional cleaners' do to a thorough clean. The flat was filthy from top

Not to be trusted. I'd give zero stars if it were an option, The positive reviews reflect that some people have had a good experience, but I can only speak to the facts of my own experience. They flatly lied to me on a few occasions (usually when relating to cash (or getting hold of it faster)) resulting in more than one embarrassing (for them) "climb down" call (in the pm telling me that the work I'd asked done actually hadn't been done at all like they'd told me in the am, same day). From the moment we moved in to the flat in Nottingham, to the moment we left trying to get our deposit back, Platinum Estates has been unprofessional, slow in resolving matters and uncooperative. I would avoid leasing through this company unless you want more stress added to your life. I am glad I have moved out of the Nottingham area so that I never have to deal with them again.
FYI, they put you on an assured tenancy so that they don't have to protect your deposit and will try to deduct as much as they can. Make sure you take pictures and note the condition of the property when moving in and

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
Terrible company to work with. As a landlord i ended up in court due to their neglect and lack of professionalism. To make matters worse Platinum estates then failed to pay the fine as agreed and pleaded poverty. Don't go anywhere near this company.

I used Platinum Estates to relocate due to work during lock down. Although we were facing such difficult times, Platinum Estates guided me through the process very smoothly, I felt that they were much more helpful than most agents and ensured that everything was in hand along the way. We have worked with Platinum Estates for many years - initially using their 'tenant find' service, but now they fully manage for us and we could not be more impressed with their service! Platinum Estates always go above and beyond the standards of other agencies. We are always impressed with their turnaround time of having matters completed and especially the very short void period that we have in between a tenancy switch over. Our last tenant was a doctor at The Royal Derby hospital, he gave two months notice and Platinum Estates manage to secure the next tenant whilst he was still living there. My new tenant is a Rolls Royce executive and has moved into the property happily within 4 days of my old tenant moving out. I have 100% confidence in them and have also recommended them
