As part of The Prince Regent Street Trust, we work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for all our pupils. Our trust is made up of Hartburn Primary, Village Primary and Wolviston Primary. Hartburn Primary is a larger than average primary school located in Stockton-on-Tees in the North East of England.
As both a parent and an experienced Head Teacher, I understand how important good relationships are between home and school. Our school is regarded as an integral part of the local community and we all work in partnership to ensure our pupils are a credit to us all. Hartburn Primary school is a highly effective organisation but we will never be complacent.

They bring with them a myriad of skills; financial, strategic planning and a more direct input by supporting teaching staff within classrooms, all of which helps to make our school as good as it can be.Our full Governing Body meets once each term, whilst the sub committees, such as Resources & School Improvement meet on a more regular basis.

We are delighted to have appointed this years Head Boy and Head Girl, along with their Deputies and Prefects. We consider the roles to be of great importance and want the chosen children to act as ambassadors for our school as well as role models for their peers and our younger pupils.
Year 6 children were asked to put themselves forward and have gone through a rigorous selection process involving pupils, staff and an informal interview with myself and Mrs Hawes, our Deputy Head.My name is Emily Murphy and I am really excited to be Hartburn's new Head Girl. I wanted to be head Girl to make my mark on the school because Hartburn is a brilliant place that has taught me so much.

This encompasses all aspects of teaching and learning in school but particularly focuses on PSHE, Citizenship, SEAL and R.E. We aim for our values to show through everything that is said and done in school by all members of our school community.

My little boy goes here and we were so delighted that we were able to get him in. He has improved so much in just one year at the school we would not have believed it.
The staff are uniformly helpful and pleasant to talk to, they put the children first and the facilities have to be seen to be believed. I cannot say enough good things about this school
