Enlightened Windows is a UK-based company supplying high quality, bespoke German windows and Danish windows. We offer a superior-style product at a competitive price. Enlightened Windows provide high quality windows and doors to the UK market. The engineering that goes into our products, along with multiple seals, finger-joint free timber and optional triple glazing, allows us to effortlessly exceed British standards.
All of our products are supplied on either a supply and fit, or a supply-only basis. We provide free training on how to install the product for those wishing to tackle the job themselves: fitting windows can be undertaken by a competent person with good DIY skills. We also offer detailed fitting instructions and, for installations of over six windows, we are happy to provide half a day of installation training on-site on the day of delivery.
We are a UK-based company who specialise in Scandinavian and German high-performance windows. All of our ranges have complementing doors. Entrance doors, sliding doors, bifold doors and tilt and turn doors can all be included in your window package. Essentially, we offer products which have proven high performance, are made with high attention to detail and which we would be more than happy to install in our own homes.
A composite window is a wooden window which has an outer skin of aluminium: removing the need for regular maintenance. These are the most popular product we sell as a result.

I have found Vrogrum wooden windows and doors the best wood windows and doors I have ever installed I have worked in the building industry as a site manager for nearly 30 years and have not see another wood window that comes close to the robust design and the the durability of the factory finish paint work is unbelievably good!
The windows were fitted back in 2005 and it is only now in 2021 that the windows and doors need repainting and in that time none of the 40 windows and 20 doors have ever warped or swelled.
I can not recommend Vrogrum wooden windows and doors enough.

Roald was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process, providing thoughtful advice and responding promptly to any queries that I had. Unlike many of the other items ordered for my building project, the expected lead time was accurate/met. Chris also delivered the doors in person, taking the time to walk through the installation process with my builders. The doors themselves are made by Lacuna and I can confirm that the expectations of high quality have certainly been met! Overall, Enlightened Windows have been a pleasure to deal with and I could not
