Futon Company began life in 1980 and has been supplying quality futons and small space living furniture for over 40 years. Ever since the start, we've been a small British company specialising in innovative space saving furniture, unique textiles and ingenious accessories. Almost all of it is designed in house, or by designers we have come to know over the years.
As new dwellings grow smaller we have become ever more focused on being the experts in small space living. The futon mattresses are still made by hand in our London workshop, and today's futon is a far cry from the original 100% organic cotton version. The comfort, functionality and appearance of the modern futon is light years ahead of what it was in the '80s.

I was told by Isabella who took my order for a sofabed last Friday that it would be in on Monday, and said I would be in on Thursday to collect it after checking while on the phone that my partner would be able to help. Myself and my partner have taken a day off of work today in order to go to Kingston today and collect the Futon. I decided, luckily to call the store before we left to find out why I hadnt received any paperwork. The woman on the phone looked up my order and said it was being delivered next Monday, the 21st. I said she had said when I ordered it, Monday, not Monday 21st, which is

I can't personally extol the virtues of this company's futons but several friends of mine are very happy with their purchases from this store. Although I may not have shopped here for their most obvious speciality, I can certainly recommend their range of practical, ready-made curtains - when you're seeking a quick fix, or inexpensive seasonal update, for your windows.
You'll find a good selection to choose from, providing a decent excuse for a speedy new interior look. There's also a keenly priced choice of versatile (plain-ish) cushions.
