Services
We believe a responsible approach in these areas can improve efficiency, reduce costs and contribute to our reputation as a socially responsible service organisation. We support a number of charities including Lincolnshire Home Improvement Agency (LHIA) and Lincolnshire Employment Accommodation Project (LEAP).
Our structured training programme allows us to offer real career development, with some of our employees progressing from office junior through to senior legal executive and from newly qualified solicitor to director. We provide training towards recognised typing qualifications, with the aim of promoting staff to legal secretary.
We want to give you the best possible service. However, if at any point you become unhappy or concerned about the service, we have provided then you should inform us immediately, so that we can do our best to resolve the problem. If you have a complaint about any aspect of our service (including any complaint about our charges), please make known your concern to the member of the firm who has been advising you.
Our charges are primarily based upon time spent on any particular matter and depend in part on the complexity of the matter. For example, if there is one beneficiary and no property, costs may be at the lower end of the range. If there are multiple beneficiaries, the deceased died intestate, there is a property, multiple bank accounts or investments, costs could be at the higher end.
We maintain professional indemnity insurance cover to meet the cost of any professional indemnity claim. Our policy, which provides cover, subject to the terms of the policy, to a limit of 10,000,000. Burton & Dyson has a duty to promote equality and diversity and to prevent discrimination and harassment.

My advise for anyone thinking of using these solicitors for conveyancing please don’t ,She was great at finding problems but terrible at finding solutions.
Thank goodness my self the seller and the buyer was personal friends else this sale wouldn’t of taken place at all just horrendous for both parties took the sparkle off the whole process.
Never again if I sell any other property’s if the buyer has this solicitor I will not proceed ,took forever and charged my buyer more than my solicitor who was on the ball and found solutions to all her questions.

Critical: Quality
Certainly would NEVER recommended the conveyancing solicitor I was allocated. She is either incompetent or inexperienced. Either way she took way longer than then process dictated, and then charged extra because of the time it took!!!!!!!

(Probate dealings) Shocking just shocking. Too slow service, bad receptionist knowledge or indeed insight. I could not recommend this firm in any sense. Wanted less than 1 star in reality. In my opinion they are intentionally slow mostly through general effort rather than potential margins. I also believe staff lied about progress of particulars when requested.
