Married father of 2 gorgeous boys, photographer and owner of "Teardrop Photography" based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. I am a professional full time photographer, working from my home studio in County Durham. As a Wedding photographer Durham, I mainly cover the North East of the UK shooting weddings of all sizes, although I am based in the North East I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK or abroad if required.

Our Albums are all hand crafted in Italy by GraphiStudio who are regarded as one of the best Album manufacturers in the world. Whether its your Wedding album or an album for your family portraits we don't believe in "off the shelf" Your album will be handmade in Italy using the materials, colours and finish that you specify - with over 2 Million possible combinations, we are sure we can provide your perfect album.
Travel is included for all weddings 60 miles from Newton Aycliffe (DL5) Travelling expenses are added for weddings outside this area. Although I am a North East Wedding photographer I also cover the whole of the UK and abroad for destination weddings. The first thing to do is to check that I'm available on your wedding date.

We were married on the 24th May 2021 and used Teardrop Photography as our wedding photographer.
After we booked Teardrop Photography for our wedding, we decided to also have a pre wedding shoot as well.
This gave us the opportunity to meet Darren and get know his photography style. And he didn't disappoint!
Darren was asset to our wedding day because he made us and all our guest feel so at ease having photos taken. He was great at communicating with us all through the planning and helping us decide the type of photos we wanted on the day.
Even though as a couple we hate having our photos taken
