We start work from the initial concept sketches through to the crafted details of the building materials - the bits that you see and touch. Throughout the process we will focus on the experience of the spaces created and the functionality of the design.

Working with our clients and partners we look to create a clear shared conservation and ambition for the project through an open process of concept and design development that allow clients to understand and take an active role through to the detailed design and construction stages.

We are very happy with the finished result of the extensive reinvention of our home of nearly 30 years. Thread's ideas and enthusiasm throughout have been impressive. We are looking for a fully qualified architect with minimum 2 years post qualification experience to join our busy team in Sheffield.
While Thread were closed over the holiday, we reviewed the year and told you a little bit more about our work on social media. Now it's the new year we have pulled together all the images and text into our start of year blog below. We are very happy with the complete re-imagining of our home of nearly 30 years. We approached Thread with our general concept for the house, and they turned it into a reality, presenting us with models and computer renditions of the possibilities. Throughout the process they were all professional and enthusiastic, taking on the planning permission process and administering the building contract throughout the 8 month build. Having been back in our “new” home for over a year, we are still amazed by the transformation, and are really enjoying the new spaces, and particularly all the additional
