The structural engineering division is able to offer a structural survey service throughout the North East and North Yorkshire in the UK and Europe. Our design skills can be applied to a range of materials that include steelwork, concrete, pre-cast concrete, masonry and timber. Structural Survey Teesside | Scurator Ltd operates from Saltburn and key UK sites in the North East, Yorkshire and London.
At Scurator Ltd we are able to assess the geotechnical and environmental constraints that can affect a potential development. We also provide budget costings for any remediation work that may be required to render the development site suitable for our clients needs. As with all developments it is usually the risks within the ground that can create excessive abnormal costings for a potential developer.
Our work with a number of clients within the petrochemical industry has identified that the key to prolong the life span of a plant is to create and implement a structured asset management plan. To meet the needs of individual client's requirements we have a team of experts that are well versed in the field of Structural Asset Management.
We have generated a UK and Europe wide client base for working as a Demolition Consultant within the oil and gas industry. Production of calculations to allow the demolition collapse mechanism to be carried out in a controlled manner. Site supervision with demolition contractors to ensure safe demolition of 'dangerous' structures.
We had Greg from Scurator go and do a Structural survey on a house we were thinking about buying in the Saltburn area. His experience and advice were indispensable for us to feel confident about the houses we were about to invest a lot of money in. Rang Scurator ltd in regards to my upper bay window sagging, i was pretty worried about it being a serious matter but even just from my initial phone call with Greg he helped put my mind at ease that it wasnt as bad as i thought. He then came for a site visit, had a look at the damage and explained in simple terms the full extent of firstly what the damage actaully was, secondly how to rectify it and finally recommended some reliable companies that can fix it. Even after he left i was assured that if i require his assistance/guidance at anytime he is a phone call away which is greatly appreciated

We needed a Structural Engineer at short notice and I contacted Gregory. He was amazing, I described the issue, he asked me to send some photos and did desk research for us, prior to a visit. Incredibly efficient, pragmatic and knowledgable. Would highly recommend him and should I need a structural engineer again, I wouldn't consider contacting anyone else.
