Services
Karen is a highly experienced Chartered Physiotherapist who founded Tomey Physio, Sports & Acupuncture Clinic in 1993. She trained at the Middlesex Hospital, London and has over 30 years experience working in the NHS, Private Hospitals, Sports Clubs and Private Clinics. After having spinal surgery herself, Karen has developed her knowledge and expertise of treatment of back and neck problems.
There are times when our bodies need help and we specialise in treating the spine, muscles, joints and nerves. At your first appointment you will receive a full clinical assessment, to give an accurate diagnosis of your condition. This is essential to give you the most effective treatment. We will explain your condition fully to you and take your lifestyle and leisure activities into account when planning your treatment with you.
Do I need to see my doctor before coming for treatment? You can refer yourself for treatment without seeing a doctor. We welcome referrals from GP's and Consultants also. Are you recognised by my Health Insurance company? We are registered with the leading Health Insurance Companies. You need to contact your Insurance Company before starting treatment, to confirm your level of cover.
