Woman's Trust
Woman's Trust is a specialist mental health charity, providing free counselling and therapy for women who have experienced domestic abuse. 1 in 4 UK women will experience some form of domestic abuse and it's the leading cause of depression among UK women. Yet we are one of the few organisations addressing the link between domestic abuse and women's mental health.

Since 1996, we have supported thousands of women from across London, through our free counselling; group therapy; and self-development workshops. If you are in, or have experienced an abusive relationship, we can help you to get back on your feet. Our professional counselling, support groups and workshops have all been designed to give you the support you need to get back to being you.
Services
In 1996, a group of female counsellors, along with female survivors of domestic abuse, formed Woman' Trust. At that time in London there was no professional mental health support, or counselling, to help women deal with the emotional impact of domestic abuse. A world where women have the resources to prevent domestic violence damaging their futures.
A programme of up to 18 free, weekly counselling sessions, with the same counsellor. Explore how you are feeling and discuss your experiences in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. Open to all women living in London, our self-development workshops cover a range of topics, from rebuilding self-esteem to understanding the effects of stress.
Meet some of the people behind Woman's Trust, including our CEO, Trustees, celebrity patrons and ambassadors. We are proud to have a small but high-performing team of people who work tirelessly to support vulnerable women. Led by our CEO, the team is backed by our Board of Trustees. Our Trustees are specialists who are well-regarded within their own professions.
Find out how we're working to make our services as accessible as possible to women across London. Our mission is to ensure that as many women as possible are able to use our services, so they need to be accessible. We collect data so we can see who we are reaching and supporting and we analyse and evaluate this data every year.
