A warm welcome awaits at Sysonby Knoll Hotel, a 3 star hotel on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. This privately run hotel has been in the same family since its life began as a private house in 1965 and over the years many changes have taken place to make it the 30 bedroom hotel it is today.

Our bedrooms range in size, shape, decor and location, mainly due to the various extensions that have taken place across the years to turn this family home into a hotel! Most of our rooms are located up one flight of stairs however we do have rooms on the ground floor so please do let us know on booking if you would prefer a ground floor room or have any other specific requirements.
All single bedrooms have at least a 4ft bed and offer a comfortable and cosy stay for one guest. Some of our single bedded rooms offer a shower only, so please let us know if you would prefer a bath in the room. We do have single rooms on the ground floor so if stairs are an issue please do contact us.
All executive rooms are located in our Annexe building which is the newest addition to the hotel, just a few paces from reception. The Annexe offers four large rooms decorated in a traditional style. Three of these rooms are all double rooms offering larger 5ft beds also offering a large sitting area.
We have one family room in the hotel, which is a superior double room which interconnects through the bathroom with a small room with full sized bunk beds. It is therefore suitable for 2 adults and 2 children, but can easily accommodate an extra bed or cot in the double room.

We have three beautiful four poster rooms located in the main building, very close to reception, up one flight of stairs. Two of our four posters have stunning views over our gardens and the Wreake Valley beyond. The other four poster is Room 2 and also known as the Easom Room - it is our largest room in the hotel with a 6ft bed and also has a separate double bed hidden away in a wardrobe which can be booked in advance for 2 children.
