Charde Oriental Restaurant

Tried takeaway from here for first time and it's the best takeaway iv had in years fresh hot full of flavour tasteful sweat and sour sauce was good and the prrawn cracker didn't taste cheap will be my new local.

Went here last night for my wife’s birthday, we hadn’t booked and it was a bit last minute. The staff were very welcoming, pleasant and friendly. The food came very quickly and was delicious, I had the Beef Kung Po and my wife Vietnamese King Prawn. We wish we could have eaten more! The decor is very clean and well kept. We will definitely be back.

One of the worst meals I have ever had! £30 worth of food in the bin! It was disgusting. I demand a refund!!!!

Needs updating, also no idea why the owner sits in the restaurant counting his money and taking phone orders?? Surely you don't need to see the just eat orders every 5 mins while you're trying to enjoy a meal out.

Placed a pre order today at lunchtime for our food to be delivered for 7.45pm. We waited 1 whole hour at 8.45pm for it to then be delivered. This was after ringing up, being told the food was ready but they were waiting on a delivery driver and that it would take 5-10 mins, which it didn't. The Thai curry container wasn't sealed properly so that spilt in the carier bag. We got given a few cookies, however one was an empty packet and the other packet was already half opened so we didn't eat that.. Quite disappointed as I've ordered from the Charde many times before. Party of 4 people didn't have to wait long before shown to our table as the time we went it was quite.. had the set menu which I thought was value for money for what you got.. time inbetween courses again was just right didn't feel rushed. Staff was friendly yes I would go again food was very nice. Thank you

Best Chinese ever!! My family only come to this Chinese when we go out, many of our family members are known by name - that's the kind of customer service they deliver. Lovely staff, so accommodating. Avoid the tribute nights when you want a romantic meal - as it is loud. But it is entertaining to watch! Always 5* food and for a reasonable price, that you're happy to pay at the end.

First time here and pleased to find tasty fresh food served by very polite and friendly host. Two of us had the oriental feast and it was well worth the money with a great menu to choose from. As main dishes are cooked to order they are piping hot and allows much appreciated "digestion" time between courses! Only slight downside is that the decor of the restaurant is a little tired but I guess many restaurants just haven't made enough money because of Co-vid to spruce the venues up. Won't out us off returning though.
