We've rented out our holiday cottage since 1999 and are keen for our guests to feel at home and relaxed. We are constantly improving and maintaining the cottage and woodland, with a view to making your visit enjoyable, care free and comfortable. We're only 20 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh with all its architecture, galleries, food and entertainment.
There is so much to see and enjoy close to the cottage. We have a keen interest in helping our guests have a good holiday. We will deal with any questions or problems promptly. We provide a "Welcome " basket of basics including local bread, free range eggs, (as available) tea, coffee, seasonings, etc.

Services
The 15 acre woods to the rear of property are for the use of our guests. There is a great variety of terrain, mixed woodland, meadow with wild flowers, all sorts of grasses, ferns, wild orchids, wild strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries and brambles. A rustic bridge over a small stream which runs through ancient woodland, the remains of a sandstone quarry, also bluebells in spring.
Rates include parking, wi-fi, electricity, bed linen & towels. Also a reasonable amount of cleaning after your stay. Leave it as you find it and there is no charge. Fuel 2 baskets of logs, a bucket of coal and a moderate use of electricity included. Cancellation/postponement - Deposit not refundable but possibly transferable for re-booking.
