APHP was established as a non-profit association in 1999 and has been running for 22 years with the aim of maintaining high standards within the professional arena of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. We check your training qualifications, your supervision, insurance and any CPD undertaken because we want to ensure that if a client finds you through our website, they can be assured that you are a therapist of good professional standing.
The Chair and/or advisory committee may appoint new members from time to time as and when deemed necessary to continue the smooth running of the Association. The above members all have clinical experience and are capable of providing competent advice/help to other members. Where a school is APHP Approved, their entire curriculum can be considered as accredited by APHP - these schools will include primary training to professional level.
