Portland Consulting Engineers is led by Managing Director, Lee Barr with Director, Mark Grant. Supported by Associate Director, Jonathan Eeles and Associate, Stephen Hunter. The day-to-day operations and business development of Portland Consulting Engineers are supported by Office Manager, Allison Donnelly and Marketing and Business Development Coordinator, Sharon Shaw.
Refurbishment and remodeling of existing offices at 22 and 23 in Cobalt Business Park. Our works involved full structural assessment, the design of steel support frames to support 20 metre high art installations in each atrium, the forming of services risers and the installation of new drainage for the new cafeteria kitchens.
Revit is the industry leader 3D modelling software and allows effective collaboration between all design disciplines and the construction team. The software is an important tool in the BIM process and allows clear visualisation of building elements and overall designs. The scheduling of components is possible and models can be shared with surveyors and contractors to enable quantities to be established and works to be sequenced.

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. You will be responsible for aspects of design work from conception through to technical approval/completion on projects typically ranging from 0.5m to 20m.
