Services
After school clubs provide a large variety of sports and creative activities. Pupils have opportunities to play a brass or woodwind instrument, play the piano, sing in the choir, take part in annual performances, learn to swim, care for the environment and much more. All children have a voice at NPS and we aim to encourage all their interests and talents!
The teachers, non- teaching staff and the Board of Governors are all highly committed to the development of the children within the school. We work together as a hard working and dedicated team to ensure that every child in the school fulfils their potential and receives opportunities to do their best in everything they endeavour!
At Newcastle Nursery Unit we aim to promote the optimum overall development of each child through planned play experiences which reflect children's interests and curiosity in the world around them. In our cross-community, multicultual setting, we aspire to place 'respect for all' as the cornerstone of our life with children, parents and the community.
At Newcastle Primary School we seek to provide a happy and caring environment for each child. We promise to listen to your suggestions and to try and make some improvements to our already fabulous school! Mrs Stewart is immensely proud of everyone in the School Council for all their hard work both prior to today and during the sale. You are a credit to NPS! All the money raised during the sale will go towards to new equipment chosen by the School Council.

This school has been an amazing experience for both my son and I.. The staff are so kind and loving to the children... They are willing to take the time to get to know each child and are able to tend to their individual needs.. I would recommend this school to any one who has ever been unhappy with the school setting their child is in or has been in. For me it was night and day.. I makes me so happy to know my child is happy everyday to get up and go to school...
